About Us

Fourways Aesthetic Centre was added to Fourways Health Centre in 2012. It was started by , started by Dr Bart Kurek and Dr Ewa Stepien (a paediatrician with a passion for skincare).

Fourways Aesthetic Centre is founded on the same principles as the Health Centre, primarily aiming to improve our clients’ outlook and confidence in themselves. Realising the integral link between self-esteem and outward appearance, we aim to treat our clients holistically by integrating both Health and Aesthetic services, with the latest in skincare technologies.

Fourways Health Centre was founded in 2003 on the practice of Dr Tomasz Kurek, a well rounded General Practitioner, whose doors were opened since the late 1990’s.

The ethos of this family-run practice is to holistically serve the patient’s needs by providing a comprehensive, health service, addressing not only the complaints, but promoting health as well.

About Dr Bart Kurek

Dr Bart graduated in 2008 from the University of Pretoria and has a keen interest in Aesthetic Medicine and Paediatric Surgery. His years spent in Paediatrics have developed the fine motor skills necessary for the delicate work needed in Aesthetic Medicine.

He is one of only a handful of doctors in South Africa to be Board Certified in Aesthetic Medicine by AAAM the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine as well as obtaining the Advanced Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine Cum Laude (from FPD South Africa) – two of the most intensive and prestigious Aesthetic Medicine post graduate degrees available in this field.

He is a longstanding member of AAMSSA. He is a speaker at a number of South African conferences on Aesthetic Medicine and Cosmetic Dermatology and regularly attends international congresses and training workshops in this field. He is also the manager and resident GP at Fourways Health Centre, alongside Dr Tomasz Kurek.
